Early Years Foundation Stage Admissions 25/26
The closing date for applications for places in September 2025 is 15 January 2025.
National offer day - 16 April 2025.
Children will be admitted to our Reception Class in line with our Admissions Policy. Up to 30 pupils are admitted each year via the London Borough of Bromley Co-ordinated Admissions Process. This process ensures that all children have equal and fair access to a school place without reference to ability, aptitude, or additional educational need (including SEND).
We no longer require a supplementary information form, however if your child is Catholic or belongs to another faith, we request that you submit a baptismal certificate/evidence into the Catholic church/evidence of enrolment or membership to ensure we apply our policy correctly. We also ask that you complete an admissions administration document, although this does not form part of the admissions arrangements and is only offered to support with the admissions administrative process.

Parents whose applications for places are unsuccessful may appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel set up in accordance with section 85(3) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998. Appeals must be made in writing and must set out the reasons on which the appeal is made. Appeals should be made to the Admissions Panel at the school address. Parents/Carers have the right to make oral representations to the Appeal Panel. Infant classes are restricted by the legislation to 30 children. Parents should be aware that an appeal against refusal of a place in an infant class may only succeed if it can be demonstrated that:
- The admission of additional children would not breach the infant class size limit; or
- The admission arrangements did not comply with admissions law or had not been correctly and impartially applied, and the child would have been offered a place if the arrangements had complied or had been correctly and impartially applied; or
- The panel decides that the decision to refuse admission was not one which a reasonable admission authority would have made in the circumstances of the case.
Appeals Timetable 2025:
2nd May 2025 | Deadline for parents and carers to accept or decline the school offered online (decisions can be submitted via email after this date) |
16th May 2025 | Deadline for lodging an Appeal against the decision not to offer a place at St Peter and St Paul Catholic Primary Academy. |
June/July 2025 | Appeals will be heard up to 40 school days after the deadline. Appellants will receive at least 10 school days notice of their appeal hearing. Decision letters will be sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever possible. |
